The Faculty of Biology
Around 70 scientific and research-supporting staff work, research and teach in the research groups at our faculty, in addition to around 80 doctoral students and a further 80 people supervised by our second members. Approximately 500 students are enrolled in one Bachelor's and two Master's degree programs, some of which offer unique modules worldwide (e.g. Genetic Forensics, Doping Research, Special Metabolic Pathways, Ecological Lipidology). Members of the faculty publish around 50 scientific articles per year.
