NanoGetter – Nanostructured textile fiber systems as high performance reactive gas and liquid filter
Duration: April 2013 - March 2016
New and highly efficient filter materials consisting of reactive and catalytically active textile components are developed in order to provide the decomposition of air and water pollutants.
In a first step reactive and catalytically active nanocomposites are developed. In a second step the active components are integrated in textile structures. After successful testing of the filter components demonstrators for air and water filtration are manufactured. For a successful final outcome project partners from research institutes and industry work closely together.
