Climate-Neutral Production and Digitalization in the Semiconductor Industry (HI)
The European Union offers a wide range of funding programs to support research and education as valuable public goods. Our project is funded by the European Union.
Project Description
The F‑GasDigiCycle project addresses key technologies in two relevant STEP sectors, thereby making a decisive contribution to reducing the European Union's strategic dependencies. In terms of content, F‑GasDigiCycle combines digital/technology-intensive innovations (including AI-supported analysis, databases, process simulation, and predictive methods) with environmentally friendly and resource-efficient technologies (energy-efficient exhaust gas treatment, emission reduction, and the circular economy of climate-harmful F‑gases). In this way, not only "end products" are strengthened, but also related, specifically intended services along the value chain (testing/assessment and digitalization services such as LCA systems, databases, and process models), expressly in line with the STEP guidelines for strengthening value chains.
