The Golden Age of Organophosphorus Chemistry
With the rapid development of organophosphorus chemistry, various new organophosphorous compounds possessing novel structures and effective functionalities have been exploited, as the field shines like gold. These developments are explored in this Special Issue on The New Golden Age of Organophosphorus Chemistry.
Together with Li-Bao Han, Shang-Dong Yang and Rory Waterman, Prof. Weigand co-edited this Special Issue in the Journal of Organic Chemistry and introduced it with the contribution Love in the Time of COVID (J. Org. Chem. 2020, 85, 14273).
The scientific contribution of the Weigand group for this Special Issue deals with phosphorus containg polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons: Toward N,P-Dopedπ‑Extended PAHs: A One-Pot Synthesis to Diannulated 1,4,2-Diazaphospholium Triflate Salts; R.
