Title: New methods for a specific and selective buildup of polyphosphorus compounds (2nd period)
The chemistry around cyclic-polyphosphanes as essential subarea of polyphosphorus chemistry remains static in recent years due to a lack of selective synthesis routes. In this project we use our expertise in the area of P4-activation and -transformatoin with anionic metallates, transition metal radicals and electrophilic phosphorus cations. In this combined research approach a selective and specific buildup of polyphosphorus compounds is targeted. Based on the combination of anionic metallates and/ or transition metal phosphides with (poly)phosphorus cations we will explore novel concepts in synthesis to buildup unprecedented polyphosphorus compounds.
