1st Nov 2025: We welcome two new members to the TUD lab! Dr. Bárbara Sousa is a chemical biologist and joins us from the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine in Lisbon. Lea Schlöffel has just received her diploma in Food Chemistry at TUD. Off to exciting #glycotime!
16th Oct 2025: Welcome to our second TUD PhD student! Hans-Ulrich Balcke received his MSc in Biochemistry and will tackle the enzymology of introducing chemically modified monosaccharides into cell surface glycans.

1st Sep 2025: We welcome the first new PhD student in the TUD lab - welcome Friederike Marte! Friederike studied Interdisciplinary Sciences at ETH Zürich and will be studying the biological application of chemical precision tools in glycobiology.
