Campus contracts - software for the employees

The following contracts are of particular interest for use on work computers at the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry:

Origin

Our faculty participates in the financing of the Origin campus contract; this means that the software can be used on all work computers in the assigned employee networks at TU Dresden at no additional cost.

ChemDoodle

The Chair of Organic Chemistry I purchased a ChemDoodle campus license in 2026 as an alternative to ChemOffice.

ChemOffice

A number of Chairs in the Faculty contribute to the financing of the ChemOffice rental license. The latest version of the software can be used on the computers of these Chairs in accordance with the number of licenses agreed.

MestReNova

A campus license for the NMR analysis software MestReNova was acquired by the Chair of Organic Chemistry II in 2026. The license also covers student use on their own computers.

Microsoft Imagine / Dreamspark / MSDNAA
_{A contract of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences used to allow the free use of a variety of developer tools and tools from Microsoft on computers used in teaching. This also included operating systems (but not MS Office).
Following the renaming of this offer and changes to the access conditions as well as the restructuring of the former MatNat faculty into an "area", this offer can no longer be used.}
