This year our working group met again (after the break due to corona) for a summer party; without our dear colleague and good friend Nikolai Gaponik. We all miss him so much, but he was in all our hearts.
We welcome Dr. Avijit Saha in our group, he has won a Marie Curie Fellowship and will research in his project NIRLUMIN. Good luck!
We welcome Shruti Samantarai from Delhi Technological University (DTU). She has received a DAAD-funded WISE- scholarship (Working Internships in Science and Engineering) and will research on "Active Matter for environmental remediation" in the "Simmchen- Group".
We welcome Jin Wang as a guest in our group. He will spend three months in Dresden to complete his PhD studies.
