Description of the project
The SFB/TRR280 is rethinking civil construction using carbon fiber reinforced concrete. The projects resemble a complete product innovation chain with subgroups dealing with inspiration, components, parts, construction and ultimately recycling. As a part of the latter one, our aim is to steer this technology towards full recyclability. Therefore the degradation of fiber surrounding polymer, regaining of long carbon fibers and the recirculation of recovered materials is needed. To achieve this, we are investigating methodologies using environmentally friendly agents, mild conditions and electric energy.
