Guest lecture: Prof. Claudia Backes

The Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 1415 welcomes Prof. Claudia Backes, Chair of Physical Chemistry of Nanomaterials, Universität Kassel, as guest speaker in the monthly CRC seminar. In her talk "2D Nanosheets Produced by Liquid Phase Exfoliation of Layered Materials", Prof. Claudia Backes presented recent progress in the field of liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) of 2D nanosheets composed of layered crystals. Furthermore, Prof. Claudia Backes reported on the size selection, characterization and functionalization of 2D nanosheets.
