Guest Lecture Prof. Dr. Siegfried Eigler
The CRC 1415’s consortium was pleased to invite Prof. Dr. Siegfried Eigler, Freie Universität Berlin, for the CRC seminar talk on July 22, 2021. Within the frame of his presentation “Chemistry and physical properties of graphene with wet-chemically prepared defects“, he presented a functionalized graphene (oxo-G) which can now be utilized as a platform to investigate chemical reactions proceeding at the surface or rims of the material, depending on the density of defects. With the gained understanding, different synthetic methods to oxo-G could be developed and the materials electronic properties were investigated by transistor devices.
We thank Prof. Dr. Siegfried Eigler and the audience for a great seminar!
