Guest Lecture: Prof. Dr. Valeria Nicolosi
The Collaborative Research Center 1415 recently welcomed Prof. Dr. Valeria Nicolosi from Trinity College Dublin as a guest. In her scientific lecture, “Processing of Liquid-Phase Exfoliated 2D Nanomaterials Devices”, held on March 31, 2026, she explored how solution-processed two-dimensional materials — such as graphene and MXenes — can be efficiently scaled and integrated into functional devices, including supercapacitors, EMI shielding layers, and printed electronics. The lecture highlighted the critical role of nanosheet properties, surface chemistry, and assembly strategies in determining device performance, emphasizing the potential to bridge fundamental nanoscience with manufacturable, high-performance, and flexible technologies.
We sincerely thank Prof. Dr. Valeria Nicolosi for visiting TU Dresden!
