Guest Lecture Prof. Thomas D. Kühne

On 16 February 2023, Prof. Thomas D. Kühne, Universität Paderborn, gave an inspiring overview lecture on the topic "Novel Approaches to Unravel the Nature of On-Water Catalysis". On this occasion, the CRC audience got relevant insights into novel, combined computational techniques, which offer unprecedented insights into the nature of chemical bonding in complex condensed phase systems. Beside green “on-water” catalysis, the effectiveness of this new combined computational technique is demonstrated on a variety of different sustainable systems, such as polymer electrolyte fuel cells and Li-ion batteries.
