Start-up Funding 2022: Dr. Michael Rüsing
The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1415 awards Dr. Michael Rüsing, Technische Universität Dresden, Chair of Experimental Physics/Photophysics, with the Start-up Funding 2022.
With the Start-up Funding 2022, the CRC 1415 supports and promotes the career of the young scientist and offers him the opportunity to develop independence by working on his own project and to focus on the preparation of individual first proposals.
Dr. Michael Rüsing is a physicist and in his "FERROIX” group he is working on the fundamental and functional properties of so-called "ferroic" materials (ferroelectrics, ferro/antiferro/ferri-magnetics, ferroelastics, multiferroics) and on complex oxides (especially those with perovskite structure). From 2010 to 2015, Dr. Rüsing studied physics at the Universtiät Paderborn, followed by his Ph.D. in 2018. After a stay as a PostDoc at the University of California, Department of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Rüsing has been working as a group leader in the Chair of Experimental Physics/Photophysics, Prof. Lukas M. Eng. since 2019.
The consortium of CRC is looking forward working together!
