AIX 2021 – Interdisciplinary Workshop on Artificial Intelligence on May 27 and 28
On May 27 and 28, 2021, the research group Geometric Modeling and Visualization (GMV) at the Faculty of Mathematics is organizing the online workshop Artificial Intelligence Exchange (AIX) together with the Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching at TU Dresden and the Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden. The workshop is a so-called "multiplier event" in the Erasmus+ project STEAM INC., an EU-funded research project that focuses on an ongoing cooperation between the STEM disciplines and the arts.
The two-day workshop AIX is about critical thinking about artificial intelligence (AI) and bringing the topic to a broader audience. Interdisciplinary teams under the guidance of scientists and artists develop formats for communicating AI. Design thinking methods will be used. Contributors include artists Christian Kosmas Mayer (Vienna) and Anton Ginzburg (New York), Sunna Torge (ScaDS.AI) as well as scientists Simon Meier-Vieracker (applied linguistics) and Karsten Wendt (software technology) from TU Dresden.
