By taking part in teaching visits, academics and scientists who are internationally active strengthen the international exchange and the cooperation in their subject areas. They impart specialist knowledge to students while also getting to know the partner universities in Europe and worldwide. A continuing education stay provides new perspectives on the basis of a coordinated program. In this context, professional exchange and strengthening one’s own competence as well as expanding and deepening networks play a major role.

Regarding the mobility of non-academic staff, the particular focus is on 'learning from each other'.  This exchange challenges the way one views one’s own field of activity and can also create new ideas for optimization and initiation.
