Programs and collaborations
ERASMUS is the European Union’s funding program for transnational cooperation in the area of education. For more than 30 years, the European Commission has been offering efficient funding for periods of study and internships throughout Europe - and meanwhile also worldwide - through the Erasmus+ exchange program. The aim of the program is to expand the European dimension of tertiary education and support the mobility of students and lecturers.
The Erasmus+ program promotes, among other things, the exchange of students and doctoral candidates for a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12/24 months. In addition to periods of studying abroad at European partner universities, internships [Leonardo Office Saxony] are also funded.
Tuition fees are waived, acquired academic credits are recognized, and financial and organizational support is also provided.

Under the Erasmus program, the five Faculties of the School of Science have entered into bilateral agreements with partner universities.
