This one day workshop is jointly organized by M. Kruzik (AS CR Prague), A. Mielke (WIAS Berlin), S. Neukamm (TU Dresden) and A. Schlömerkemper (U Würzburg). It is the first of a series of "Berlin-Dresden-Prague-Würzburg"-meetings, which have the goal to bring together researchers (in particular young scientists) from the above mentioned regions interested in the analysis, modeling and simulation of materials, multiscale and evolution problems, continuum mechanics and related topics. The first meeting has a focus on homogenization problem in continuum mechanics and related topics.
