A safe harbour for students facing struggles or hardship
Studying at university may cause a whole range of challenges for students ranging from insecurities, pressure and stress directly related to the degree programme to financial or personal struggles. At the Factulty of Mathematics we are keen on providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our student body to cater for the best university experience possible.
While there is support for problems related to academic matters (such as the Lernraum or Studienfachberater), it is the explicit goal of "Compact Support" to provide a safe harbour for students facing struggles or hardship.
We acknowledge that persistent worries and fears are a serious matter which is why our team provides a welcoming, unbiased, and non-judgemental atmosphere to listen to your problems, discuss perspectives, and provide support. Should you feel alone or overwhelmed at any point in your studies, do not hesitate to reach out to us for help.
