The main building of the Faculty of Mathematics is the Willers Building (WIL): Zellescher Weg 12-14, 01069 Dresden, see WIL in the campus navigator.
One wing of the Willers Building is currently being renovated and therefore three Mathematics Institutes are working in the office building Z21 during this time, see Z21 in the campus navigator. The introductory events will take place at various locations on the TU campus.

Tips for starting your studies

• Mentor:innen program at the Faculty of Mathematics
  We, the Faculty and the Faculty Student Council, support you with the Mentor:innen program at the start of your studies. As part of the program, you can join a mentee group right at the start of your studies, which is supervised by a student from a higher semester.
  You can find all information on the mentoring program, in particular on registration, the kick-off event and the workshop series on the Mentoring Program website.

• gOPAL

  What is a module, a preliminary examination, selma, OPAL, ...?
  Studying can be quite complicated, the course content put aside. To help you keep an overview at all times, we offer you gOPAL, a personal study navigator to guide you through the first two semesters.
  If you are studying for a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Business Mathematics, you will find"gOPAL Mathematics" to be a tailor-made electronic companion. This course also offers interesting information and tips on studying for a teaching degree in mathematics.
  However,"gOPAL Lehramt" offers you tailor-made information on the complex teacher training course.
