First semester introductory events (ESE)
In order for you to have a smooth start at the university, the faculties and disciplines, as well as the Student Councils organise varied first-semester introduction events. These take place before the start of the lecture period.

This presentation is ideal for all first semester students who want to find their footing. Find important information on starting your studies as well as practical tips and answers to the following questions: How does it all get started? What do I need? How to I plan my studies and daily schedule? How should I prepare and who can help me?

Finding the introductory events schedule, changing your ZIH password, getting your E-meal card – there’s a lot to do and a lot of information to take in when you start university. The Central Student Information and Counseling Service and ServiceCenterStudies are there to help you keep track of it all. Get answers to your questions about studying at TU Dresden and pointers for useful counseling and services. Please note that all questions on how to construct a class schedule and about enrollment will be answered during the subject-specific introductory events (ESE).
