Welcome to the Research Training Group 1621
"Itinerant Magnetism and superconductivity in intermetallic compounds"
Interdisciplinary Cooperation
An important characteristic and strength of our Research Training Group is the intensive cooperation with non-university research institutions. In addition to the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Material Research Dresden (IFW Dresden) and the Helmholtz Center Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), the two Max Planck Institutes for Chemical Physic Solids (MPI-CPfS) and physics of complex systems (MPI-PkS), which are also located on the campus of the TU Dresden. Outstanding scientists from these institutes are internationally active in the field of solid-state chemistry and physics of correlated electron systems in the research field of the Research Training Group. Colleagues are given the opportunity to use the scientific expertise of the scientists and the infrastructure in these working groups.
The speaker of the Research Training Group 1621 is Prof. Dr. Hans-Henning Klauß, Institute of Solid-State and Materials Physics.
The Research Training Group 1621 is a research project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
