Prof. Jürgen Czarske receives the SPIE Dennis Gabor Award in Diffractive Optics
Prof. Jürgen Czarske, holder of the Chair of Measurement and Sensor Systems Technology, has been honoured with the SPIE Dennis Gabor Award in Diffractive Optics 2024. The prize is awarded annually by the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE). SPIE thus honours the Dresden scientist for his significant contributions to the development of digital holography, and related techniques for biomedicine, fiber communication, imaging, information processing, and laser metrology. The award ceremony will take place in California in August 2024.
