Human-Centered Electronics
running time: 1.11.2019 - 31.10.2020
funding amount: 120.000,00€
summary: Flexible organic electronics enable fascinating new applications in medicine and biology. The aim of this project is to combine the excellent previous work of IAPP in the field of organic electronics with the field of medicine and biology, to create new competences enabling a new, Human-Centered Electronics with features such as flexibility, low weight, biocompatibility, resorption capacity and eco-friendliness. For applications such as implantable sensors and actuators with integrated data acquisition and transmission, completely new device concepts must be developed as well as existing high-performance materials and device concepts adapted. An additional educational component of our application is the introduction of a new topical module into our existing international Master Program.
