How to reach us:
The Institute of Solid State and Materials Physics is located in the wings B (Thomas, Klauss), C (Geck, Inosov) and D (Kaiser, Laubschat) of the Recknagelbau in Haeckelstr. 3. The bus stop "Mommsenstraße" of the bus line 66 is about 5 minutes walk away from the building. Openstreetmap shows the location of the building, which cannot be entered directly from Haeckelstrasse, but only from the opposite side of the courtyard.

By train
From the main station (Hauptbahnhof) take bus route 66 uptown (south, toward the final destination Coschütz, Gittersee, Mockritz, or Südhöhe) to the second stop at "Technische Universität". From here, you can walk (5 minutes).

By plane
From the airport take suburban train S2 (train station below the terminal) to Hauptbahnhof. From there continue with bus line 66 to Mommsenstrasse as described above.

By car

Follow Autobahn A4 to junction "Dresden West", then Autobahn A17 to exit "Dresden Südvorstadt", then towards the city centre (B170). Parking is available in the adjacent residential area.
