Neutron Scattering and Spectroscopy of Magnetic Excitations
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Dmytro S. Inosov
The Group „Neutron Scattering and Spectroscopy of Magnetic Excitations“ (Professorship for Neutron Spectroscopy of Condensed Matter, Prof. Dr. Inosov) performs experimental investigations of magnetic excitations in various novel materials by means of inelastic neutron scattering. The experimental are performed at different neutron sources (research reactors or spallation sources) worldwide. We use neutron-scattering methods to investigate a number of physical phenomena, in particular correlation effects, magnetic frustration, helimagnetism and other non-collinear types of magnetic order, magnetism in low-dimensional systems, unconventional superconductors, and f-electron systems.
