DRESDEN EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR SHREENANDA GHOSH

We congratulate Dr. Shreenanda Ghosh for the DRESDEN EXCELLENCE AWARD , the science prize of the state capital Dresden and the network "Dresden - City of Sciences". The annual DRESDEN EXCELLENCE AWARD recognises outstanding scientific work performed in Dresden in the four categories: Bachelor, Master/Diploma, Doctorate and Habilitation. With her PhD dissertation on "Manipulation of time reversal symmetry breaking superconductivity in Sr₂RuO₄ by uniaxial pressure", Dr. Shreenanda Ghosh is one of the four prize winners in 2021. The award was presented on March 19th, 2022 at a ceremony by Mayor Dirk Hilbert, chairman of the jury, and consists of a certificate and a sum of €9,000.  Unfortunately, Shreenanda Ghosh was unable to attend the ceremony in person. In the near future she will take up a Postdoctoral position at the renowned Johns Hopkins University, USA. We are delighted with her performance and wish her all the best for the future.
