Marein Rahn is now Professor!!
We extremely happy and proud to announce that Marein Rahn has been appointed Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Augsburg!
Marein joined the Chair of Physics of Quantum Materials in 2019, where he established his Emmy Noether Research Group on Correlated Electrons under Extreme Conditions at the Institute of Solid State and Materials Physics (IFMP) of TUD.
He brings an outstanding academic background to this role. He was awarded a Clarendon Scholarship for his studies at the University of Oxford, and later conducted postdoctoral research at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His work on valence-fluctuating f-electron systems was supported by both a LANL Director's Fellowship and a Feodor Lynen Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
