Dresden Excellence Award for Shreenanda Ghosh

We congratulate Dr. Shreenanda Ghosh on the DRESDEN EXCELLENCE AWARD, the science prize of the state capital Dresden and the network "Dresden - Stadt der Wissenschaften". The award is given for the final thesis in the categories Bachelor, Master/Diploma, Doctorate and Habilitation. Dr. Shreenanda Ghosh is one of the four prize winners of 2021 with her dissertation on "Manipulation of time reversal symmetry breaking super-conductivity in Sr₂RuO₄ by uniaxial pressure". The prize was presented at a ceremony on 19 March 2022 by Mayor Dirk Hilbert, chairman of the jury, and consists of a certificate and a reward of 9,000 euros. Unfortunately, Dr. Shreenanda Ghosh could not be present in person. In the near future she will take up a postdoctoral position at the prestigious John Hopkins University, USA. We appreciate her achievement and wish her all the best for the future.
