Research Training Group: Presentation Best Doctoral Thesis Award

During the SFB Winter School 2021 at IFW, Dresden, the prize for the best PhD thesis in the SFB was awarded. The annual prize was awarded for the third time and went to Dr. Heike Eisenlohr for her outstanding thesis on "Frontiers of quantum criticality: Mott transition, nuclear spins, and domain-driven transitions". The work was done in project A02 under the supervision of Prof. Vojta. Ms. Eisenlohr was nominated by her supervisor and selected by a committee composed of PIs from theoretical and experimental physics, and chemistry. The guidelines for selection are very good grades, outstanding publications, and the nomination letter. In addition to her scientific achievements, Ms. Eisenlohr showed great commitment as a spokesperson for the PhD students of the SFB (2018-2020) and organized the PhD student seminar series. We wish her all the best for her future career.
