Research Training Group: Presentation Best Doctoral Thesis Award

The prize for the best doctoral thesis 2023 in the CRC was awarded on a small occasion. The annual prize was awarded for the fifth time and went to Dr. Robin Schäfer for his outstanding thesis on "Magnetic frustration in three dimensions". The work was done in project A07 under the supervision of Prof. Roderich Moessner. Mr. Schäfer was nominated by his supervisor and selected by a committee composed of PIs from theoretical and experimental physics, and chemistry. The guidelines for selection are very good grades, outstanding publications, and the nomination letter. Mr. Schäfer is currently working as a postdoc at Boston University and we wish him all the best for his future career.
