Research Training Group: Presentation Best Doctoral Thesis Award

The prize for the best doctoral thesis 2024 in the CRC was awarded on a small occasion. The annual prize was awarded for the sixth time and went to Dr. Adam McRoberts for his outstanding thesis on "Anomalous spin dynamics in low-dimension: superdiffusion, subdiffusion, and solitons". The work was done in project A07 under the supervision of Prof. Roderich Moessner. Mr. McRoberts was nominated by his supervisor and selected by a committee composed of PIs from theoretical and experimental physics, and chemistry. The guidelines for selection are very good grades, outstanding publications, and the nomination letter. Mr. McRoberts is currently working as a postdoc at the ICTP and we wish him all the best for his future career.
