The application of what has been learned about the basic principles of physics takes place on the one hand in exercises by discussing theoretical examples and on the other hand in the preparation, execution and detailed evaluation of experiments in the practical physics lab courses. In addition to direct application, this also leads to the consolidation of knowledge:
- about key concepts in physics,
- about measurement devices and their principle of measurement ,
- about methods for evaluating data,
- methods for evaluating measurement uncertainties and
- the scientific discussion of results.
