Good Scientific Practice
Good Scientific Practice (GSP) encompasses fundamental principles such as working in accordance with the established standards of the respective discipline; documenting results in a transparent, verifiable, and complete manner; consistently subjecting all findings to critical scrutiny; maintaining strict honesty with regard to the contributions of others; and adhering to ethical standards when conducting data collection and research studies.
All members and affiliates of TU Dresden are required to base their academic and research activities on the Regulations for Ensuring Good Scientific Practice and to actively contribute, within their respective areas of responsibility, to preventing scientific misconduct.
