Research Interests
I am interested in how we perceive and assess each other - particularly in how accurate our judgments of ourselves or others are and how we can even define what an accurate judgment is. Forthermore, I investigate how we differ in our judgments and which factors can distort them.
From a meta-scientific perspective, I am concerned with how theoretical work - especially formal modeling - can contribute to more reliable and insightful psychological research. In this sense, I am working on formal models of person assessment and, together with a group of other theory enthusiasts, I am also trying to identify and establish quality criteria for theoretical research.
At the moment, I am not offering any particular theses but if you are interested in my topics and would like to write something about them, feel free to contact me.
