Mental Health Network
We are happy to be part of the newly established consortium Mental Health Dresden-Leipzig that brings together diverse institutions including the Technische Universität Dresden, the Universität Leipzig, the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Science, the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research, the Robert Koch Institute, transCampus, and the IOPPN at King' College.
Mental Health Dresden-Leipzig has particular strengths and expertise in clinical psychiatry, neuro- and cognitive psychology, basic and clinical neuroscience, epidemiology, environmental sociology, and public mental health.
The infrastructure includes neuropsychiatric research facilities, a digital health centre, existing longitudinal cohort and population studies, regional networks of district hospitals, services and community organisations, and international collaborations including the transCampus® network for Mental Health.
With translation between the above-mentioned research fields, including participatory research approaches, we aim to improve the mental health of young people.
