New Approaches for the Research and Treatment of Developmental Dyslexia
At the Chair of Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience at TU Dresden, Katharina von Kriegstein and her team have been successfully researching the origins of developmental dyslexia (DD). DD is a brain-based developmental disorder that occurs in 5-10% of people worldwide. In her new project, "ReDyslexia," she is leading an international group of researchers who will dive even deeper into the neuroscientific understanding of the disorder. The international research group will also use the newly gained knowledge to improve diagnosis and treatment strategies. The project is funded by ERA-NET NEURON.
