Wiley Analytical Science Magazine - Interview with Dr. Corrina Maguinness
The latest issue of Wiley Analytical Science Magazine features an interview with Dr. Corrina Maguinness on her scientific career which has focused on understanding how we recognise the identity of others.
Corrina talks about her and the group’s current research on the under-reported but highly prevalent disorder - developmental prosopagnosia. Also known as ‘face-blindness’, the disorder severely affects the ability to recognise the faces of others, even the most familiar people such as friends or family. It affects up to a staggering 1 in 40 of us and it can have a severe impact on everyday life.
