Statistics Consultation Hour

The Chair provides support to students in the faculty with methodological and statistical questions in the context of internships or theses. During the semester, we offer an open statistics consultation hour (no appointment necessary); outside the semester, consultations can be arranged flexibly upon request.

To attend the statistics consultation hours, you must fill out a consultation form.

We offer guidance on selecting the appropriate analysis methods and implementing them in commonly used statistical software.

Please be sure to note the following information:

• Before attending the statistics consultation hours, you must have already discussed your problem with your advisor.
  Be sure to bring the completed and signed consultation form with you.

• Consultations are offered in particular for all methods that are part of the statistics curriculum taught by the Chair.
  For specialized methods that go beyond this scope, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

• Implementation in statistical software is offered for the following programs: R, JASP, JAMOVI, MATLAB, SPSS
