Research interests:
Aetiology, epidemiology, prevention and therapy of substance use disorders and gambling disorder with a focus on:

Risk analysis of the development of these disorders as –given similar exposure- only a small percentage of the population suffers from these disorders

Risk management focusing on prevention strategies and consumer protection measures for people with high and low risk to develop Substance-related and addictive disorders
