Data Protection Declaration for the PRISMA Sustainability Assessment and Policy Award
1. Purpose and Data Collection Authority
The application process for the PRISMA - Sustainability Assessment and Policy Award requires the collection of data of the applicants. This includes personal data. All data will only be pro-cessed by members of PRISMA – Sustainability Assessment and Policy, their affiliated employees, IT and media service providers of the TU Dresden and the award jury. The PRISMA – Centre for Sustainability Assessment and Policy is responsible for the processing of data (01062 Dresden, ).
2. Data Processing
Data entered to the application form and uploaded files will be collected until the end of the ap-plication period, stored at servers located at the TU Dresden and then transferred to the jury.
3. Voluntariness and Revocation
The submission of data is voluntary and the processing consent can be revoked at any time. In that case, participation in the application process for the award will end and a receipt of the award will no longer be possible. On request, all data that the applicant provided will be deleted immediately.
4. Data Transmission
Unless otherwise provided by law or if you have given your express consent in individual cases, no personal data will be transmitted to third parties.
5. Storage Period
All data except the data of the award winners(s) will be deleted within one month after the award ceremony.
6. Publication
Names, institutions and information on the paper of the winner(s) will be published on the PRISMA website and news channels of the TU Dresden and the NEXUS conference where the winner(s) have to participate to present their work.
7. Information Rights
I am aware that I can request information at any time about the data processed about me and the possible recipients of this data to whom it has been transmitted, and that I am entitled to a reply within one month of receipt of the request for information.
8. Data Protection Officer and Data Protection Supervisory Authority
I am aware that I can contact the data protection officer of the TU Dresden1 and the responsible supervisory authority2 for data protection at any time.
