Start the adventure: save Mika's bachelor thesis in the escape room "Mika's Dream"!
Are you new to university and want to take your first steps into the world of academic writing? Or are you looking for a creative change of pace shortly before submitting your thesis that can also help you prepare for your academic writing process?
Together with the SLUB, you can get to know a scientific writing process in a playful way at the Writing Center in the escape room "Mika's Dream" (in German) while you save Mika's thesis.
In 60 minutes, you can immerse yourself in Mika's (nightmare) dream with up to four other players. The mission: Overcome the battlefield of word battles, don't get lost in the graveyard of dead motivation, overcome the altar of procrastination and solve the final puzzle to save Mika's bachelor thesis from the wastepaper basket! Whether you're a beginner or an escape room pro, two rooms with different levels of difficulty offer you a mix of teamwork, puzzle fun and a learning experience about the scientific writing process.
