Are you writing a report, your seminar paper or thesis, or have you finished writing it, but can't find anyone to read over it and give you feedback? You have delved so deeply into the topic of your work - and are unsure whether anyone other than you will even understand your text? Or can't find the "red thread" in your working method yourself? Then come to the writing consultation and take advantage of our pool of volunteer proofreaders and editors!

The writing consultation is an individual conversation with our trained writing peer tutors about everything that is currently bothering you about your current writing project (thesis, seminar paper, project work, etc.). The writing consultation takes place on different dates every week, including during lecture-free periods, on campus in the Fritz-Foerster-Bau or online. Reserve an appointment via Opal, course "Schreibzentrum". Can't find a suitable time slot? Make an appointment by sending an email to schreibzentrum@tu-dresden.de.

The proofreader/editor pool is a new service offered by the TU Dresden Writing Center to support student writing work. It is aimed at students who have questions about spelling, grammar and comprehensible style in their writing assignments. In order to overcome these challenges, dedicated, often retired people from various departments are now available to provide advice and support on a voluntary basis. If you are interested, please send an email to schreibzentrum@tu-dresden.de.

The TU Dresden Writing Center (SZD) supports students and lecturers with offers for planning and writing various texts during their studies, such as documents, protocols, seminar papers and theses, and for teaching academic writing in teaching and supervision.
