Survey: Scientific writing in schools
Dear teachers and students,
Most students gain their first experience of academic writing before they start university when they have to write a KOL, BELL or term paper at school. This is a task that prepares students well for writing seminar papers at university, but is also a challenge - for students and teachers alike.
We would therefore like to develop an offer for teachers that optimally supports them in the process of supervising school Research Associates - not just with gray theory, but as practically as possible. Your opinion is needed!
Dear teachers:
- What questions do you have about academic writing and the writing process?
- What questions do you have about the supervision of academic papers?
- What other support needs and general suggestions do you have?
We would be delighted if you could take 10 minutes to answer them! The survey for teachers is open until 01.06.2024 and can be accessed via the following link: https://bildungsportal.sachsen.de/umfragen/limesurvey/index.php/996232?lang=de
Dear students:
- What did you find particularly difficult when writing your KOL/BELL/specialist paper?
- What did your supervising teachers do that you found helpful?
- How could you be better supported when writing a KOL/BELL/specialist paper?
We would be very happy if you could take 5 minutes to answer! The survey for students is open until 01.06.2024 and can be accessed via the following link: https://bildungsportal.sachsen.de/umfragen/limesurvey/index.php/961416?lang=de
If you are currently writing a KOL, BELL or technical paper or are due to do so soon, then take a look at our website for students. It explains what is behind this task, what a scientific writing process is and how you can approach the individual work phases.
