Teaching workshops
In addition to individual teaching advice on didactic writing issues, we are also planning a new format from 2025: SZD teaching workshops. Over the past few years, we have compiled an extensive collection of handouts and didactic concepts on writing in teaching and the support and supervision of student work. You can find part of this collection in our handouts "Writing Start-Up Guide" (PDF) and "Writing Didactics Start-Up Guide" (PDF, in German). Nevertheless, we know that it takes a lot of time to sift through these materials and integrate them into existing teaching concepts. We would like to support you in this process and offer you and your colleagues a framework: As a lecturer in a department (min. 3, max. 9 people), arrange an individual appointment with us at which you can view and discuss our materials with us and integrate them directly into your existing teaching concepts or further develop your teaching concepts. If you are interested in an SZD teaching workshop for the summer semester 2025 or winter semester 2025/2026, please send us a non-binding e-mail to .
Lecture and workshop program
Our current continuing education program with all information and registration can be found in the OPAL course "Continuing Education of the SZD". Please note: Continuing education courses can continue to be offered free of charge for members of TU Dresden, IHI Zittau and the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine in 2024 and 2025, financed by the Zukunfstvertrag. For members of the HDS affiliated schools and external participants, we have to charge a participation fee in some cases. Please refer to the information on costs in the respective OPAL course.
The workshops are recognized as part of the Saxon University Didactics Certificate Programme (HDS).
