Electrical engineering: 50 years of graduation and Golden Diplomas
Alumni meeting for the presentation of the gold diplomas on 11.09.2024 in the Görges Bau
On September 11, 2024, around 60 alumni of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering met in the Görges Building to receive their golden diploma certificates. The meeting of graduates from the class of 1974 was accompanied by Prof. Hans Georg Krauthäuser, Ms. Susann Mayer, Head of the TUD Alumni Office, and the Doctoral Examinations Office of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The presentation of the certificates took place in the lecture hall of the Görges Building and was accompanied by the camera team of MDR Sachsenspiegel. You can find the MDR report here. After the presentation of the gold diplomas, the alumni went on to the campus tour and then to lunch in the Alte Mensa on Mommsenstraße.
For the Faculty, working and networking with former students of the Faculty is of particular value, as they are ambassadors and voices of the Faculty and carry the value and importance of the diploma program all over the world.
