In this workshop, we will look at the ecological importance of wild bees and their role within our ecosystems. Wild bees make a central contribution to the pollination of numerous plant species and are therefore of great importance for biodiversity, agriculture and stable natural habitats. At the same time, many species are under increasing pressure due to habitat loss and a lack of nesting opportunities. In this workshop, I would first like to give you a short theoretical input that provides the basics on the way of life of wild bees, current threats and possible protective measures. This will be followed by a practical part in which we will build insect nesting aids together. There will be a special focus on the use of sustainable and natural materials and on the professional design of the nesting aids.
When? 12.00 - 13.30
Where: Meadow behind the Auditorium Center

More growth = better future? Not necessarily. This workshop opens up new perspectives on resource consumption, invisible work and alternative economic models. Together we will rethink the economy - critically, interactively and future-oriented.
The workshop offers you the opportunity to think critically about constant economic growth and its impact on the use of resources and to understand the concept of "invisible labor". In addition, alternative approaches and
strategies for a sustainable economy will be presented and discussed together. The workshop promotes the exchange of ideas and the development of new perspectives.

Unicycling is more than just circus art - it is a versatile sport that promotes balance, coordination and concentration. In this workshop you have the opportunity to gain your first experience on the unicycle. If you don't manage to ride long distances straight after the workshop, that's completely normal ;) If you have already ridden a unicycle before, even better, because unicycling is never forgotten. You can even improve your skills in the workshop.
Is there a trick you would like to learn? Then I'll be happy to show you the first steps.
In a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn to master the unicycle more and more with targeted exercises, small games and helpful tips. There is also the opportunity to try out special unicycles such as the racing witch.
If you can't decide between ball sports and balance acrobatics, you can try your hand at unicycle field hockey with a bat and ball.
A great mix of movement, balance and fun - try it out and rediscover your balance!
If you feel safer with a helmet and knee/elbow pads, please bring them with you. You are of course welcome to use your own unicycle.
