Matching Challenge 2026
Since the Deutschlandstipendium was launched in 2011, more than 3,000 TU Dresden students have been awarded this special scholarship. They are all united by willpower, determination, commitment - and a good time with the Deutschlandstipendium!
For several years now, many of our scholarship holders and alumni have shown us through their numerous and generous donations that support from the Deutschlandstipendium is not just a one-way street. They give something back and help to ensure that other students can also receive funding.
This great feedback has encouraged us to challenge our current and former scholarship holders in a MATCHING CHALLENGE annually. Every euro donated is "matched", i.e. doubled. This type of fundraising campaign, known as the Stips4Stips Matching Challenge, went in its fifth round!
In this year's Stips4Stips Matching Challenge 2026, two generous private matching sponsors are doubling the donation amount. BUT ATTENTION: It's not just MATCHING, it's also CHALLENGE!
The challenge is that the donation amount is only doubled by the matching sponsors when the sponsored scholarship holders raise 3,600 euros themselves. As soon as this sum is reached, it becomes 7,200 euros - together with the money from the federal government (another 7,200 euros), 4 additional scholarships can be awarded. If the 3,600 euros are not raised, there is no matching.
Every donation of our scholarship holders counts! Whether the amount is small or large, only together can we win this challenge and make four more students happy.

Viele unserer Stipendiat:innen und Alumni zeigen uns seit einigen Jahren über ihre zahlreichen und großzügigen Spenden, dass die Unterstützung im Deutschlandstipendium keine reine Einbahnstraße ist. Sie geben etwas zurück und tragen dazu bei, dass auch andere Studierende eine Förderung erhalten können.
Dieses tolle Feedback hat uns dazu ermutigt, unsere aktuellen und ehemaligen Stipendiat:innen jedes Jahr zu einer MATCHING CHALLENGE herauszufordern. Dabei wird jeder gespendete Euro "gematcht", also verdoppelt. Diese Art der Spendenaktion, auch Stips4Stips Matching Challenge genannt, geht mittlerweile schon in die fünfte Runde!
Bei der diesjährigen Stips4Stips Matching Challenge 2026 übernehmen zwei private Matching-Förderer die Verdopplung der Spendensumme. ABER ACHTUNG: Es heißt ja nicht nur MATCHING, sondern eben auch CHALLENGE!
Die Herausforderung besteht darin, dass die Spendensumme von den Matching-Förderern erst dann verdoppelt wird, wenn die Stipendiat:innen 3.600 Euro selbst zusammenbringen. Sobald diese Summe erreicht ist, werden daraus dann 7.200 Euro – zusammen mit dem Geld vom Bund (nochmal 7.200 Euro) können so 4 zusätzliche Stipendien vergeben werden. Kommen die 3.600 Euro nicht zusammen, gibt es kein Matching.
Jede Spende unserer Stipendiat:innen zählt! Egal ob der Betrag klein oder groß ist, nur zusammen können wir diese Challenge gewinnen und vier weitere Studierende glücklich machen.
