Admission requirements
- Proof of a relevant domestic university degree in medicine or dentistry corresponding to at least 300 credits according to the ECTS standard, or a domestic or foreign university degree equivalent
- Participants who are not from an EU country must provide proof of a professional license (dental license) from their country after completing their first professional degree
- Proof of sufficient knowledge of German or English corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, demonstrated by appropriate language certificates
- Conclusion of a training contract with the International Medical College (IMC)

The application must first be submitted externally to the International Medical College (IMC) at Enrollment at TU Dresden only takes place after approval by the IMC.
General information about the degree program
The Master's program in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry offers specialized, practice-oriented, and scientifically based continuing education in the field of modern restorative and aesthetic dentistry. In cooperation with the International Medical College (MIB), the program combines innovative treatment concepts, evidence-based materials science, and the highest aesthetic standards in an internationally oriented study format.
Study contents
The program provides in-depth knowledge of the functional and aesthetic rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system. Key areas of focus include direct and indirect restoration techniques, adhesive dentistry, aesthetic prosthetics, digital workflows, and interdisciplinary treatment planning. The close integration of theoretical training, practical exercises, and clinical application enables students to confidently implement complex restorative and aesthetic therapy concepts.
Occupational fields
Graduates of the Master's program in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry acquire a recognized academic qualification and develop the professional competence to independently perform high-quality restorative and aesthetic treatments at the highest international level.
