An industrial mechanic’s responsibilities range from manual machining (turning, milling, drilling), module assembly, the use of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming. This work requires manual dexterity and an interest in taking on new tasks. It also requires an eye for detail. This vocational training program takes place at the teaching and research facilities of TU Dresden. Industrial mechanic students will gain experience in prototype and manufacturing equipment construction, service and assembly as well as in individual and small series production.

- Assembly of parts into modules with the help of route sheets
- Commissioning of units and devices as well as verification of their functionality

Prerequisites
Applicants should have received good grades in school, be manually adept and possess technical knowledge. Your proficiency in English is a plus.
